Hell hath no fury like an angry girl. Seriously.

Have you ever had someone take something you said or did and COMPLETELY manipulate and twist it to work in their favor? I'm sure we all have, at some point. During my time in SL I've seen a lot of "mean girls" stuff, and even had some pulled on me, in the past. I'd say for sure I learned to choose wisely who I really open up to. I guess no matter how wonderful some people are, others can be real snakes! That being said, I am so blessed to have made as many true friends as I have online. I always moved around a lot during my youth, and made a lot of great online friends along the way. Can any of you relate? Always an open ear or up for making new friends over common bonds!

I'm really doing my best to stick to things like gifts and sales! I don't think the general public of SecondLife really know what sort of steals and deals are out there. Trying is the key word here, I couldn't help myself at the Okinawa New Year Festival. There were a couple things I couldn't live without.

Featured items from this week's Saturday Sale. While I was at Olive grabbing this weeks sale hair, I noticed a 75% off sale going on. They're always so generous with sales, and there are FIFTEEN lucky boards on the wall that are not group exclusive, so if you need hair, or know anyone who does (especially people who are new to SL), send them over! 

When I swung by the Okinawa New Year Festival, as well, there were plenty of gifts sprinkled around there, too! It's a fun event, all around. There are little food carts that give out food, a shooting gallery, and a temple at the top of the hill. I think it would be a great spot to take some pictures.

I feel like people really sleep on free gifts!

I took a trip to the Shop & Hop Winter Shopping Event and picked up all the gifts, and the creators have all been super generous this year! I said in an earlier post that I started this new blog with an avi that had a pretty fresh and empty inventory. Well...this has actually proven to be a bit of a challenge, as I have so little to wear for blog posts, so this event's gifts have been so nice! I was sorting through all the gifts and came across this dress, and hair, and jewelry/purse set and it all just went together so perfectly! There's still time to go and grab these goodies! The event ends on January 6th.
